Slapback is an iPhone app that blocks distracting social apps and websites using Apple's Screen Time to help users focus on tasks. It uses a unique 'slap' feature with vibration, sound, and voice roasts to discourage phone use until daily tasks are completed, while keeping all data private on the device.

A practical workflow
- User names up to three daily tasks by speaking or typing them.
- User places phone face down and starts a timed session of 25, 45, or 60 minutes during which distracting apps are locked.
- If user picks up the phone during a session, the app triggers vibration, sound, a hand across the screen, and a roast; apps remain locked until tasks are done.
