A practical workflow

  1. Claim any rank by paying a whole US dollar amount starting at $1 up to $999,999; position is determined by amount and listing age for ties.
  2. Raise a listing by entering the same URL with a higher total; checkout charges only the difference between current and new amount.
  3. The suggested #1 price increases by $5 increments until $100, then by $1 increments; users can choose any amount to take a rank.
  4. All-time ranks never expire; listings remain unless they break rules, though others can move above them.
