FocusNod is a Mac menu bar app that helps users stay focused by noticing when they drift from their task and nudging them back only when it is confident. It reads only the app name and window title, never the screen content, and works without accounts or subscriptions.

A practical workflow
- User clicks the menu bar ring and types the current task to start focus tracking.
- After about one minute of drifting, a dot appears on the ring as a subtle indicator.
- After about three minutes of drifting, a small panel asks if the user is still on the task with options to return or take a break.
